Quartzite Sand (Paving Sand)

Much like Dolomite sand, Quartz sand has multiple names, but the most common is Paving sand. It can also be called crushed quartz or quarry sand. It is important to clarify with the customer which product they require, if they just request “Quartz, as there are also Quartz Gravels and Rubble. USES: Quartz sand is primarily used to provide a firm base for the laying of pavers. It is preferable to Dolomite sand as it does not contain salts, therefore it will not affect the pavers. Quartz sand can also be used as a soft base for under horse arenas, as it blends with the arena sand and is easy to level off. CONTAINS: Quartz sand is made by crushing large quartz rocks into fine material.
