Delivery Terms & Conditions
Please note that failing to ensure accurate product selection, provide clear delivery instructions, or prepare the site for safe access may result in redelivery, which could incur additional fees based on the conditions.
- Product Selection - Please ensure you select the correct product when ordering. Some generic terms can refer to different products, so double-check before placing your order. We provide photos and descriptions for each item on our website to guide you. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to call us for advice.
- Measurement Units - Products may be sold by weight or volume. For example, some items are measured in cubic yards (approximately 0.76 of a cubic metre) rather than by weight. If you need help determining the quantity required for your project, please reach out to us—we’re happy to assist.
- Clear Delivery Instructions - To help us deliver smoothly, please provide detailed instructions, such as gate codes or an on-site contact number. If you will not be present at the delivery time, consider placing a tarp or marker where you’d like your order unloaded. This assists our drivers in delivering to the correct location.
- Safety and Site Access - Safe and accessible delivery locations are essential. If a site is difficult to reach due to limited access, hazards, or obstacles (e.g., low-hanging power lines), we reserve the right to adjust the unloading location or, if necessary, return to our yard. Where possible, we’ll contact you to discuss alternative arrangements, such as the use of a smaller truck. Please note that unclear or incorrect addresses may also cause delays or non-delivery. In these cases, a delivery fee may still apply to cover costs. If youa re unsure, you can check our Delivery Truck page to see our truck sizes.
- Alternative Delivery Sources - Your delivery may come from one of our other sites or suppliers based on stock availability, driver schedules, and vehicle requirements. There are usually no extra charges for this adjustment, as we determine the best way to fulfil your order.
- Unloading Assistance for Bulk Items - Some products, like large or heavy items, may require additional unloading assistance upon delivery. Our drivers are not expected to handle significant manual unloading alone. For example, unloading large quantities of heavy items (e.g., 50+ bags of cement) will typically require support. We may set quantity limits on certain items to ensure safe and efficient unloading.
- Flexible Delivery Schedule - We do not operate on strict schedules, as each delivery can vary in time and complexity. If you have a preference for AM or PM delivery, please indicate this when placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate. However, exact delivery times are not guaranteed. If you need a more specific timeframe, please call us to discuss.
- Split Loads and Separate Deliveries - We offer split loads as a convenient option, though they may not be possible for all orders. For online orders, unless otherwise specified, we assume two separate deliveries. For a single delivery arrangement, please contact us directly.
- Extra Driver Services - In some cases, our drivers may be able to offer additional services, such as spreading gravel down a driveway or unloading products in multiple locations on-site. While many customers appreciate these services, please understand they are at the driver’s discretion and not included in the delivery fee.
- Liability and Responsibility - While we take every measure to deliver safely and accurately, we cannot accept responsibility for damages to the property caused by unsuitable access or unforeseen risks on-site. Our drivers are instructed to assess each delivery site and will discuss alternatives if safety or access is a concern.
- Order Adjustments and Cancellations - Orders may be adjusted or cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Cancellations made within this window will not incur a fee; however, orders cancelled the same day may be subject to a cancellation charge to cover costs.
- Weather and Site Conditions - Inclement weather or poor site conditions (e.g., muddy or flooded areas) can impact delivery. If we cannot safely access the delivery location due to weather or ground conditions, we may need to reschedule or make alternate arrangements. We will contact you in these instances to discuss the best options.
- Delivery Delays and Rescheduling - While we strive to meet your preferred delivery window, unforeseen delays may occasionally occur. These may result from traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you updated on any delays and work to reschedule deliveries as soon as possible, if necessary. Delivery fees remain applicable if a delay was due to customer-provided information or site conditions.
- Damages Due to On-Site Conditions - We are committed to handling all deliveries carefully; however, we cannot accept responsibility for damages to driveways, lawns, pathways, or other areas resulting from access or unloading at your specified delivery location. Please ensure the designated drop-off area is clear and suitable for delivery to avoid any risks of damage.
- Customer Responsibility for Site Preparations - The customer is responsible for preparing the delivery site before arrival. This includes removing obstacles, clearing debris, and ensuring the ground is stable for unloading. Failure to prepare the site may result in delivery delays or alternate unloading arrangements, with associated fees applicable.
- Redelivery Fees - If delivery is not possible due to factors such as incomplete information, limited access, or unsuitable site conditions, a redelivery fee may apply. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you in these instances to prevent additional charges.
